BlackBerry (BBM) has recently launched the budget smartphone with QWERTY keyboard in India, the BlackBerry 9720. It comes with 2.8-inch 480×360 pixels resolution TFT LCD display, with 214ppi ( pixels per inch ). The BB 9720 runs on BlackBerry OS 7.1 (operating system). It draws the power from 806MHZ Marvel Tavor MG1 processor paired with 512MB of RAM. It has 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It is 12mm thick and weighs 120grams. It comes with a QWERTY keyboard, optical track-pad and has a dedicated BBM key. The look and design is similar to BOLD and CURVE.The 9720 features 3G HSDPA 7.2Mbps HSDUPA 5.7Mbps, WIFI, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, GPS with aGPS , FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack connectivity. The handset is powered by 1450-mAh battery that claims 7hours of talk time and up to 18 days of standby time. The phones comes in Black and white color.
