Capacitive touchscreen

Capacitive touchscreen Definition

A capacitive touchscreen is a type of screen that works on capacitive coupling and takes the human body capacitance as an input. Capacitive touch screens are more responsive to use (pinch, gestures, swiping) than the resistive touchscreen. Unlike the resistive touch screen digiterz, the capacitive one does not work with globe, wood, plastic stylus, as these are not good conductors. You don’t have to apply much pressure on the display in order to make it work.

If you put a coin on the screen and applying your finger touch could make the capacitive touch screen works, as the coin conducts the electricity (good conductor).
