The WWW (World Wide Web) also known as WEB or W3 in short provides the access to the Information and data available on the Internet. The WWW is an Internet service. The WWW comes into play on the basis of client / server model. A Client is the End user who is accessing the information (articles, news, videos, files etc) over the internet while a server is the source of that information.
The communication between the client and the server take place through a protocol called as HTTP (Hypertext transfer protocol). The one who wants to access the internet requires an application software known as a Web browser.
