HP 8 Tablet goes official in the US, priced under $170

HP has launched there latest Android based tablet in the US, the HP 8.  Instead of being 8 inch, it has 7.85 inch IPS  Display of 1024 x 768 pixels resolution. The new HP 8 is priced under $170 and comes with some nice specs. It has Allwinner A31s CPU coupled with POWERVR SGX544MP2 GPU and Android Jelly bean v4.2.2 operating system. Overall its a mid-ranger tablet and will compete with other low cost tablets.

It has 2-megapixel webcam and a VGA front shooter. It measures about 7.95mm thick and weighs 312 grams, which makes it easy to hold. To make the tablet snappy there is 1GB of RAM. It has 3800 mAh battery, which would be not enough in many cases, but yes it depends from person to person. HP is well known brand in Computers, to please the coustomers the company is also offering 25GB lifetime CLOUD STORAGE.

It comes with 16GB of internal storage and up to 32 gigs of expandable memory via micro SD card. It is powered by Quad core processor and has Stereo speakers. It features WiFi, but lacks SIM CARD slots, so can’t make call from the TAB.
