HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol) Definition
HTTP (hypertext transfer protocol) is a protocol with which client and server communicate with each other. There is another type of HTTP known as HTTPS or HTTP over SSL and Secure HTTP). It is the foundation of Data communication for the WWW (W3 or World Wide Web). Hypertext is well-structured text that uses logical links (known as hyperlinks) between the nodes containing text.
