Micromax’s YU has all set to launch there latest flagship smartphone the “Yu Yutopia YU5050. The MMX YU YUTOPIA YU-5050 is the company’s first smartphone with high end specifications and affordable price tag. The Micromax Yutopia features 21MP camera with 4K video recording capabilities. It comes with 5.2 inch IPS 1440 x 2560 pixels 2K QHD display. It comes in two variants : one with 3GB RAM and another with 4GB RAM, similar to OnePlus Two.
The Yu Yutopia 5050 would powered by 2GHz Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with Adreno 430 GPU. The phone would have uni-body meta design, this might result in lack of microSD card slot. It would come up with 32GB / 64GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS based on Cyanogen OS 12.1. Rest of the specs includes 4G LTE , WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and OTG support. BGR India has also revealed Retail box image of YU YUTOPIA.
The Phone is also listed in Antutu Benchmark, revealing some important info. It would be a Single SIM phone, instead of Dual SIM. The YU YUTOPIA is expected to launch next month with price tag of RS 24000 in India. It will compete with Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+, iPhone 6s Plus, Apple iPhone 6 Plus, Note 5, LG G4 and Sony Xperia Z5 Premium. Everything is still under rumored phase, we can expect the official confirmation soon.
