Lenovo launched the Vibe K5 A6020a40 back in February this year. Here is the complete Review of Lenovo A6020a40. The phone comes at price the of RS.6,999 and is available through online retailers. It is good smartphone under this price tag but not the best for sure. Coolpad Note 3 Lite, Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime, Xiaomi Redmi 3S prime and Swipe Elite plus are some of its stable competitors.

Lenovo A6020a40 Vibe K5 Review

The Lenovo Vibe K5 comes in a simple retail box containing power adapter, User manual, Screen Guard, Data cable, 2750mAh battery, and handset itself. The phone ships without headphones, which means you have to spend extra bucks in case you don’t have it. It comes in Golden, Silver, and Gray + Black color. The back cover is removable which gives access to the battery, SIM slots, and microSD card slot.

Looks, Display, and Design

The Vibe K5 looks good appears to be a metallic phone, even though it is not completely metallic. Built quality is good and it is comfortable to hold in hand. The back panel is of aluminum and it 8 mm in terms of thickness. The Power button and volume rockers are placed on the right and it also has 3 touch capacitive buttons. There are two microphones and has a notification RGB LED (does not blink). The stereo Loudspeakers are at the bottom on the back of the phone.  It comes with a 5 inch HD 720 x 1280 pixels display. The color reproduction is very good and so is the touch response. Viewing angles are not that good but okay.

OS, Camera, and Audio

It is equipped with a 13MP camera on the back  and a 5MP shooter on the front. The camera is capable of recording Full HD 1080p videos in MP4 format. It takes the time to focus and many times the focus is not accurate/ sharp. Talking about the camera quality, it is a bit above the average.

The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Vibe UI on the top. The UI is fast and easy to use. The Lenovo A6020a40 features Dolby Atmos technology which enhances the audio experience on it. The output from stereo speakers is loud and clear (one of the best under 7K price tag).

Storage, Performance and Gameplay

The Vibe K5 with 2GB of RAM and 16 GB of onboard storage. Also, you can expand the storage via microSD card up to 32GB. It supports USB OTG. By default, all apps install on phone storage and here is no option for moving apps from internal storage to SDcard. It draws the power from 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 64-bit processor integrated with Adreno 405 GPU. We tried different games. The gameplay is smooth although it lags in-between while playing games in high graphics. It heats up but not much compared to other phones. The overall performance from the phone is average.

The Lenovo Vibe K5 houses 2750mAh battery. The battery backup is decent and the battery can easily last for one and half day with moderate usage. On continuous usage, it can survive for 4 to 5.5 hours.

The Vibe K5 is a good smartphone in many aspects but the performance is average. It looks stylish and premium. The Audio quality is its main pro. There are many other options in the market with Full HD display under the same price tag. It will compete with Lenovo a7020a48 in this price range.
